Protect your Chips
Lately, there have been a lot of people reporting of hacked accounts and stolen chips.
Please pay careful attention to my 5 point program and I assure you're safe.
- NEVER click on unknown links or messages from unknown people. They're phishing websites and they snatch your user name and password. Please also remember that Facebook (or Facebook Admin) or Game Provider will NEVER message you about your account, or send you a FINAL WARNING MESSAGE or ACCOUNT ABUSE MESSAGE. Think 10 times before clicking on any link or email which you get in your inbox. You can also choose to NOT receive messages from strangers in Privacy Settings.
Update: There're some Facebook Apps & Identical looking pages which ask you to login as well (and take away your password). Be VERY Alert - and only manually go to http://www.facebook.com and log in.
- If possible, get your account's Privacy Blocked. This can be done easily in Facebook Settings > Texas Hold Em Poker Settings in Facebook. When you do this, no one can find out who you are :)
- If someone is spamming continuously on a table, and if you find the table lagging -- simply move out or mute everyone on table.
- All websites which promise to double your chips or offer you free chips are SCAMS. They simply look and feel to be very genuine and real - but in reality, they'll take your chips and leave you with double the frustration!
- If your account has already been compromised, and you've lost chips - Change password immediately, and if possible - change login email as well. Also make sure the Security Question in Account Settings has not been changed.
Have fun playing poker!
